Beware of fraudulent websites & e-mails

We have recently been informed by several authors of accepted papers for the upcoming The Fifth International Conference on Damage Mechanics (ICDM5) in Singapore (16 - 18 July 2025) that they have received fraudulent emails posing as official communications related to the event.
Please do NOT respond to any unsolicited emails asking you to book travel or accommodation for ICDM5 through questionable travel agencies.

ICDM5 legit emails are only sent from @nus.edu.sg

These emails are scams. If you receive such communications, please treat them as fraudulent.

Important:

These past years, scammers have also targeted other international conferences. We urge everyone to be cautious. You can read more about similar incidents here:

These scams are designed to trick attendees into providing personal information.

Our Official Policy:

We never work with travel agencies for any of our events. We only provide a list of recommended hotels on our official website, and attendees must book and pay for accommodations directly with the hotel via the link on our official website https://www.ICDM2025.sg

If you receive an unsolicited email from a travel agency, do not respond. It is likely a scam. Always remain vigilant when receiving unsolicited communications.

Official Conference Registrations:

Scammers may also create fake registration pages. To avoid this, always use the official ICDM5 website for registrations:

Never click on links from unverified sources or emails. Stay safe and vigilant,
